Aliana 52″ Square Arm Loveseat Hashtag Home

By Gear Patrol Reader Matthew Swaggart:

levis-514-jeansThe other day, my buddy called a neighborhood Saks Fifth Avenue store and asked if they carried Levi’s Capital E brand jeans. The salesman quipped, “Levi’s! No, we don’t carry Levi’s.” His tone was overtly snarky, to which my buddy replied with a couple of option words and hung up the telephone (the fact is, Saks does Hashtag Home have Levi’s in their catalog).

Here is my issue with this scenario – designer denim is out of handle appropriate now. Hashtag Home Most of it doesn’t even look excellent and might be entirely worthless in a couple of months. This prompted my thoughts on guys and on fashion.

Right now we see a cookie-cutter man entering the wonderful world of style by wearing Affliction T’s, Correct Religion jeans, and lengthy, square-toed shoes. THIS DOESN”T Appear Superior, Males!!! It also represents an exorbitant amount of funds to devote on a couple of things that won’t final in the globe of style. I’m a denim freak and I have a closet complete of designer jeans like Correct Religions, on the other hand, I come across myself on a day-to-day basis wearing my Levi’s 514 Slim Straights“. They can dress up with dress footwear or go casual. When I travel, I pack the 514s simply because they pull double duty with casual or dress attire. Levi’s also has a superior grasp on denim designs and colors.

No American designer or short article of clothing will ever touch the impact that denim has had on the globe of style…EVER!

To the snarky jackass that answered the telephone at Saks, lets have a history lesson, shall we… the most American write-up of clothes we have is the blue jean. It was invented by Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis in 1873, right here in the USA. No American designer or square arms loveseat write-up of clothes will ever touch the effect that denim has had on the globe of style…EVER! The blue jean was invented in America and became wildly preferred (in a fashion sense) in the 60s and has in no way looked back. To you, snarky salesman, I say that you are un-American (I square arms loveseat actually hate this term and I don’t really imply it).

Subsequent time you go out to pick up some new jeans, take a severe look at the 514s. I wear them routinely with Magnanni’s or Jordan’s, they just function. Obtaining a pair of jeans nowadays for significantly less than $50, that really work on each ends, and will very easily last any style storm the world has to give can’t be ignored. And males, graphic T’s normally suck and square toes shouldn’t be purchased!

Expense: $32 | $40 @ Amazon
